Rental terms and conditions
Clear rules with no fine print, so you only worry about enjoying the trip.
Requirements to rent
- Driver age: between 25 and 80 years old.
- Valid ID card or passport.
- Valid driver's license. Foreign visitors: home-country license or an international driving permit.
- Security deposit by credit card or cash at pick-up (not charged online).
- Book at least 3 hours in advance.

Online deposit
You confirm your booking by paying 30% of the total when you book.

Balance at pick-up
The balance is paid at pick-up with Visa, Mastercard or American Express, bank transfer or cash. Prices in CLP, tax included.
Insurance and deductible
- The rental includes insurance with partial coverage and a deductible of 15 to 100 UF depending on the type of damage.
- Minor damage below the deductible (windshield, tires, dents and scratches) is discounted from the security deposit.
- 24-hour roadside assistance within the Magallanes Region.
- Engine damage caused by misuse is not covered by the insurance.

Hours and returns
Pick-ups and returns Monday to Sunday between 8:00 and 21:00.
Returns have a 2-hour grace period. After that, an additional day is charged with a 20% surcharge on the daily rate.
Vehicle use
Full-to-full fuel
Entrega y devolución con estanque lleno. If the tank does not come back full, the difference is charged.
Unlimited mileage
Every rental includes unlimited mileage within the territory allowed by the contract.
Border crossing to Argentina
Allowed only into Argentina, with a special permit and insurance that we arrange (an extra $90.000 per booking). Request it when you book. Returns in El Calafate available for a $390.000 fee.
Free additional driver
You can register one additional driver for free; they must meet the same age and license requirements.
Security deposit
Security deposit by credit card or cash when picking up the vehicle. Not charged online.
